Task and Project Management for Security occur in Jira. Security uses the following projects:

  • CSIRT: tasks related to security incidents.

  • VLN: vulnerability management dashboard. All vulnerabilities that are being tracked by the security team must be added to this dashboard.

  • GRC (Action Plans): owned by GRC, contains the main tasks for security compliance and audits.

  • SB: all other security tasks that do not fall under the aforementioned dashboard must be tracked in the SB board.

Jira issues are used to document our tasks, track our activity history, and provide transparency to other team members. All tasks created and managed by the security team should include clear and detailed information, making it easy for others to understand the task. This ensures that new security engineers can smoothly take over tasks when necessary.
